Pioneer Days at Peaceful Valley
Pioneer Days is an event we do every Monday afternoon.
Children have the opportunity to visit one of the oldest buildings on the property which has been turned in to a museum displaying Peaceful Valley’s rich history. Children learn how to make dipped candles, butter and apple sauce similar to how the pioneers made them. Pioneer games like gunny sack races and the three legged race are so much fun to play in the nearby meadow.
During Pioneer Days children also have the opportunity to explore a little Native American culture as well through crafts and stories.
