Evening Activities at Peaceful Valley
Every evening during the Summer Dude Season there is something new to do. You won’t want to go to sleep just yet nor will you miss that TV or those video games.
Monday night is our barn dance. Come on down to the Mid-Barn and learn a few line dancing moves with our staff! Get all gussied up or come down in your blue jeans, everyone is welcome. We teach a variety of line dances like the Watermelon Crawl and Slap Leather as well as fun dances for the younger crowd like the Macarena and the Chicken Dance. We want everyone to have a good time and maybe even learn a little something new.
Tuesday night is our Magic show with The Great Scott. Not only is the Great Scott an unbelievable magician, he is absolutely hilarious! This show is great for all ages, from the youngest child to grandma and grandpa. You might even see your typically solemn teenager crack a smile! The Great Scott interacts with the audience and brings an occasional “volunteer” onto the stage to help with a magic trick. He will blow your mind when he pulls that card out of an unexpected place! Every week guests leave his show asking, “How did he do that?”
Wednesday night is the wagon ride, s’mores, and Peaceful Valley branding. After dinner, jump on the horse-drawn wagon and sing cowboy songs of the west while you clip clop down the road. When you get off the wagon, head over to the fire pit to warm up and roast marshmallows. Sing around the campfire as you enjoy a gooey and delicious s’more. Get a pair of jeans, boots, or cowboy hat branded with the Peaceful Valley brand. The iron is heated by the campfire and leaves a permanent Peaceful Valley Ranch memento. Talk about a conversation piece!
Thursday night head down for dinner at the Mid-barn and Wild West night. You might be surprised when you realize you are making your own dinner at the Chili Cook-off competition. Teams compete for money to buy ingredients to make the best tasting chili. The winning team is announced and everyone gathers to try all the chili and the rest of the buffet prepared by our Peaceful Valley kitchen staff. During dinner, families pose in western costumes for an old fashioned family portrait. The entertainment doesn’t stop there, after dessert guests head down to the arena to try out the bucking bull and climbing wall. The fun never stops at Peaceful Valley Ranch!
Friday night entertainment is provided by YOU! Our Peaceful Valley Talent show is a great opportunity to show everyone your “special” talent. Whether you can sing, play and instrument, tell a story, dance, or perform a skit, we are all ready to be entertained! Our talented staff shows off their abilities as well. The Talent Show is a fantastic way to round out the amazing week you’ve had at the ranch.
